STAFF Spotlight

Mrs. Geri Rose

Mrs. Rose has worked for Monroe Woodbury School District for 27 years. She is the proud mother of 3 children and  "Gigi"  to 3 beautiful grandchildren who she loves spending time with. Geri loves dancing! She is partial to line dancing, cha cha, merengue and disco!

Over the years, while working in the middle school guidance office,  Geri has helped thousands of children. Whether it was greeting them with warm smile when they needed it most or helping them with a scheduling glitch, she supported our students in a manner that was both loving and kind. Her impact on our students has been immeasurable. Geri showed the same kindness and professionalism when working with middle school staff. Always willing to lend a hand to help with grading, gathering student information, problem solving PowerSchool and setting up appointments with our counselors. Geri will be sorely missed in our guidance department, and her guidance counselors will surely be lost without their "Gigi" who everyone knows, "ran the place." Their fondness and love for her has no limit.

Geri is retiring from MWMS this June and her future plans include "taking it all in,"  and cruising to Bermuda, Turks and Caicos, and the Dominican Republic. We hope she relaxes and enjoys every minute of retirement. We will certainly miss you Geri!
