Engagement

When the COVID-19 pandemic occurred in 2019, I was (begrudgingly) forced into online teaching. At first, I thought, "There is no way this will work! My ESL students need face-to-face connection! They need to be in the same room communicating with the teacher and fellow students." However, there was nothing I could do about the situation, and I knew I wanted my class to do more than just survive; I wanted them to thrive. As a result, I began researching online education for adult ESL learners.
