For SEL the week of 3/30/20:
I loved all the ways you shared your inspiration from Cleo Wade's "Where to Begin" poem. This week, watch "Thank You." I have included this video on the page below. Then, choose to do at least 1 of the following:
Create your own "Thank You" video to inspire the Lower School
Create a poster or collage of words of thanks, pictures that share your thanks, and more!
Write a thank you card or note and mail it to them or email it to them
Write a thank you card or note to a doctor, nurse, first responder, "essential services" provider, or company that is helping create or deliver supplies for Covid-19
Create a song or poem about thanks and gratitude (If creating a song, you can change the lyrics to a favorite song)
Spend time in mindfulness - reflect on the things you are thankful for
Create a Mindful Meditation for the Lower School reflecting on gratitude

Help your parents around your house to say thank you for all they do for you!

This week, watch Cleo Wade's TEDtalk of her poem, Where to Begin, at least 2x (provided below).

Then, choose to do at least 1 of the following:
Memorize a part of Cleo Wade's Where to Begin poem that you connect with, and record a video of you sharing it. Email it to mandrews@mttam.org
Create a picture book that illustrates some/all of Cleo Wade's Where to Begin poem.
Create a poster of an excerpt from Cleo Wade's Where to Begin poem that you connect with and hang it on your wall. Take a picture and send it to mandrews@mttam.org
