Welcome 4th-grade mathematicians!
I plan on making your at home learning straightforward and engaging. Make sure you have access to the following materials:
pencil, eraser, and scratch paper or whiteboard marker and whiteboard
your 4A/4B Textbooks and 4A/4B workbooks
device for Splashmath or Sumdog
Each day we will provide you with math work. This could be a presentation to follow along with, a video to watch, or just a game to play.
There will be a daily number talk
make sure to solve it mentally with an organized strategy
try to use different strategies
take time to share your strategy orally or write it down to check your work and share it on Padlet
Continue to work on fraction project. I have changed the due date until after the break. Fell free to finish it today, over the break, or when we return from break. I understand the challenges of Distance Learning and am being very flexible with the due date.

Students have been assigned a three day Fraction Project. Please access this project on your google classroom page. Guidelines have been provided to help manage the workload for each day. Students are expected to access the google slideshow and complete each slide by following all directions and answering all questions accurately. Make sure to solve all math work on scratch paper and double check all work before entering answers into each slide.
Today I want you to put your fraction knowledge to the test with this AWESOME Jeopardy game. Find a friend, family member, or play by yourself. (guaranteed to win!)
Be sure to have scratch paper handy to check your work. Add a timer for extra difficulty!
