Welcome to the Spring/Summer Edition of the Guidance Newsletter!

Here is what has been happening in guidance and with your children this Spring:

• Juniors took the NJGPA in March.

• Students submitted their schedule requests for next school year and met with their counselor to review the requests and graduation requirements.

• Seniors turned in MANY scholarship applications and were awarded thousands of dollars as a class!

• Our freshman students rocked the NJSLA!

• Seniors made their OFFICIAL college decisions!

• Seniors are getting ready to GRADUATE!!

What's happening this summer?

• Final Transcripts for Seniors

  • Seniors attending a college/university must submit a final transcript request through an emailed Google Form for their finalized transcript to be sent to their college/university.  

• Summer School

  • Students, if eligible, should fill out the Google Form that was emailed to them by Ms. Thiffault and Mr. Adams.  They will be contacted by administration if they are accepted.

• AIM Program for incoming Freshman

• Scheduling

• AP Boot Camp

• Summer Financial Literacy Online Course

  • Students were selected based on their grade level and when they turned in the application.

  • Accepted students have been notified through email of their usernames and passwords in order to access the online course through APEX.  Students have also been added to the Google Classroom.  They have until August 4th to complete the course.

• Summer Job Opportunities have been shared through email with our students!

• We will be offering the Accuplacer this summer.  Information is forthcoming.
