What's Going on in Guidance (and what's to come) this Summer?

What's happening this summer?

• COMPASS NJ4S counseling will continue for students who are currently engaged or submitted a permission slip to start services before June 14th.

• Final Transcripts for Seniors

  • Seniors attending a college/university must submit a final transcript request through an emailed Google Form for their finalized transcript to be sent to their college/university.  

• Class of 2025 Testing - students who did not meet the state requirement for testing have been invited to retest this summer.  Students should check their email to see if they need to retest and for more information.  

• Summer School - July 8-August 8

  • Students will be contacted by administration if they are accepted.

• AIM Program for incoming Freshman - July 8-August 8

• Scheduling

  • Schedules will be finalized the first week of August.

  • Honors and AP students - your summer assignments will be available once your schedule is finalized. You will be able to find updated information here when they are released.   

• AP Boot Camp for all students taking AP classes for the first time. 

• Summer Financial Literacy Online Course

  • Students were selected based on their grade level and when they turned in the application.

  • Accepted students have been notified through email of their usernames and passwords in order to access the online course through APEX.  Students have also been added to the Google Classroom.  They have until August 8, 2024 to complete the course.

• Summer Job Opportunities have been shared through email with our students!
