I believe every student can learn. Learners can be seen as plants that have yet to evolve fully. They are all developing at different levels and require a different amount of nurturing and caring. I believe all students have a chance to reach their full potential, and it is a teacher's job to inspire, nurture, and encourage every student they are assigned to. An educator must create individual relationships with all their students and, with that, create collective inclusion. My goal as an educator is to be the best teacher I can possibly be. Every student deserves a teacher who believes in them no matter the case, and I will do everything in my power to be that teacher.
I believe that no student should be without the opportunity to learn. Through this opportunity, they deserve to feel a sense of confidence, and therefore passion. Regardless of individual background and experience, many opportunities to learn differently can build students' confidence in their ability and competence. When a learner experiences confidence in themselves, their passion for learning will only grow. Combining exposure, confidence, and passion will foster motivation and drive. I believe the youth of today make up our future society, and that is why it is the role of future educators to foster a passion for learning.Â
Students need to be supported physically, socially, emotionally, and intellectually. When a teacher believes in a student unconditionally, that student begins with the advantage of having half the battle fought for them. Every learner is different, and having a supportive teacher can be the difference between failure and success. Assessment can be done in a multitude of ways and should include written, oral, and other diverse methods. Students should be given multiple opportunities to meet the outcomes, ensuring that all learners are included.
I believe that no student should be without the opportunity to learn. Through this opportunity, they deserve to feel a sense of confidence, and therefore passion, within literacy. Regardless of individual background and experience, every student deserves the opportunity and exposure to become comfortable with reading. Mass exposure to literacy can build students' confidence in their ability and competence. When a learner experiences confidence in their literacy ability, their passion for literature will only grow. Combining exposure, confidence, and passion will foster motivation and drive. This exposure to literacy will create a snowball effect in which success is inevitable. Literacy is important for communication, creativity, intelligence, and personal liberation. Without a love for literacy, youth may be discouraged from improving their reading and writing. I believe the youth of today make up our future society and that is why it is future educators' role to foster a passion for literacy.
