I take great pride in wellness. I strive to balance my health in all aspects of my life. I do this through eating healthy, staying active, being in touch spiritually, contributing to society in positive ways, challenging my brain, protecting the environment and much more. I enjoy being well-rounded and encourage my friends and family to participate too. Health is a lifelong journey that I have been on since I was just little. I am excited to grow and evolve my health in new ways for years to come.
In the winter, I love skiing and enjoying the beauty of snowy landscapes. Yoga and working out are part of my daily routine, helping me stay grounded and balanced. I enjoy camping and learning about nature, as well as caring for my small plant family. Cooking and baking are creative outlets for me, and I love exploring new recipes and trying foods from different cultures. Music inspires me with its variety and uniqueness, and my favourite instrument to play is the acoustic guitar. I’m always eager to embrace new adventures, experiences, and opportunities to try something new.
I have wanted to be a teacher since I can remember. Passing on knowledge and inspiring others has always been my greatest passion. Throughout childhood, I have always sought out interactions with friends' younger siblings, younger children I have babysat, and younger cousins. If my parents looked away for one second at the playground or a social event, I would be trying to help anyone around me. It was my goal to include everyone in every scenario, and I would actively seek out excluded peers, making attempts to include them. I have always prioritized the needs of everyone around me whenever and however I can. Practicing a leadership role comes with great responsibility, as every individual needs to grow on their own as well. I intend to always be the best teacher I possibly can through balancing leadership, support, and inspiration.
