Zoom is a video conferencing tool that can run on computers and mobile devices. MSUCOM uses Zoom for some lectures (indicated on Medtrics as green events, labeled as session type "hybrid"; you can find the Zoom link in your D2L course or in Medtrics under the session's "resources" tab).
It is especially important to sign in to Zoom before joining a meeting or webinar. Some hybrid sessions will utilize your Zoom account information to track attendance or to divide the classroom into breakout rooms for further discussion. You will need to have Zoom downloaded on your device and be signed in using your MSU NetID and password for attendance tracking and breakout room functionality to work correctly.
See the links to the right for information on how to download Zoom and confirm that you are signed in with your MSU credentials, as well as other helpful information.
