Your NetID and password are your personal identifier at MSU and serve as your login to many university computing and networking services such as Wifi, email, course content, and more. You should memorize your MSU NetID and password - you will be utilizing it to access the many resources available to MSU Spartans!
MSUNet 3.0 and Eduroam are the preferred Wi-Fi networks for use at MSU. They are both available at all three MSUCOM sites.
MSUNet 3.0 is an MSU-specific network; once you register your device(s) on the network, it will automatically connect to campus Wi-Fi when you come on site.
Eduroam is a network shared by many different colleges and universities, and if you register your device(s) on the Eduroam network, you will be able to automatically connect anywhere Eduroam is available. MSU plans to make Eduroam the preferred network for most users in the near future.
