On a computer, log in to print.msu.edu with your MSU NetID credentials.
Click Web Print on the left side of the screen.
Click Submit a Job.
Select the general printer location and print options (i.e., single/double-sided, b/w or color).
For East Lansing students, select “East Lansing Campus”
For MUC and DMC students, select “Health College Distance Learning Sites”
The “B/W Both Sides” print option is recommended as the most cost-effective at 8 cents per double sided page (i.e., 4 cents per side).
Select the number of copies and click the green Upload Document button.
Click Upload from computer and select your file (or drag the file into the upload box). Note the allowed file types listed on the page.
Click Upload & Complete
You will be taken to the “Web Print” main page again, and a listing of all files you have uploaded for printing appear here. Once the files are done processing, you will see the status “Held in a queue”
Click Held in a queue (you may see a different status if your document is still processing).
Click Print.
Select the specific printer.
For East Lansing, select “Fee E101 – B/W”
For MUC, select “Macomb University Center UC4 213 B/W”
For DMC, select “Detroit Medical Center G026 B/W”
Your print job will appear in the “Jobs Pending Release” page.
“Web Print” is only available when on MSU’s network (MSUNet 3.0 Wi-Fi or computer labs). You may print to any printer in the MSU Print system from anywhere on campus.
MSU Print supports the following document types:
Microsoft Excel: xlam, xls, xlsb, xlsm, xlsx, xltm, xltx
Microsoft PowerPoint: pot, potm, potx, ppam, pps, ppsm, ppsx, ppt, pptm, pptx
Microsoft Word: doc, docm, docx, dot, dotm, dotx
Other file types: pdf, rtf, txt
Picture file types: bmp, dib, gif, jfif, jif, jpe, jpeg, jpg, png, tif, tiff
