My projects & resources for Foreign Language Teaching

About Katelyn

I have been teaching for 5 years and currently teach 8th grade Spanish in Spokane, Washington. Middle school has quickly become my favorite place to teach as every day is full of the unpredictable, hilarious and energy-filled antics my students bring to class each day. After discovering the power (and freedom) of teaching with comprehensible and compelling input, I never went back. I have since been on a journey to develop flexible resources that I can use to plunge my students into the Spanish language and its cultures. When I'm not teaching I am probably cooking, experimenting with my sourdough starter, or trying to grow plants. My husband and I love to read, play board games, and explore the hiking trails and lakes around Spokane.

I hope this site helps you along your own language teaching journey! I would love to hear from you with questions, ideas, or to collaborate.
