Language Learning Experience

I began learning Spanish in high school and then went on to study it in college at Whitworth University. During that time I was able to travel to Oaxaca, México and later study abroad in Costa Rica. I attribute my growth in proficiency to extensive use of Spanish for real communicative purposes in my classes, time abroad, and with Spanish-speaking friends.
