Language Awareness Unit

In FLT 845, I designed a language awareness unit that focuses on learners being able to recognize and identify the differences between present tense verb endings and the use of de with definite articles. There are four inductive activities that center around social media. I created a corpus with Spanish social media articles and analyzed them with AntConc and Voyant Tools. The goal of these activities is to bring awareness of these features, increase learner autonomy, and demonstrate learner knowledge through writing.
