My name is Amanda Ferris and I am a secondary Spanish teacher in Michigan. This portfolio showcases the variety of projects that I completed for the Master of Arts in Foreign Language Teaching program at Michigan State University. My teaching practices have been greatly influenced through these courses, professors, and colleagues. The work that I put into this program reflects my teaching beliefs, experiences, and research in language teaching. I hope this portfolio provides some guidance for educators that are interested in learning more about engaging learners and building their language proficiency in a meaningful way.
My husband, David, and I at Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado, USA.
Below you will find projects that I am the most passionate about because they have challenged me to be a better language teacher. Enjoy!
