Designed for FLT 817--Program Evaluation and Administration

In this project, I teamed up with a classmate (Mikaela Filson) to evaluate my department's practices in different key areas. We conducted interviews of my colleagues, my principal, and even formed a focus group with members of the department. All interviews were recorded and transcribed using Otter.ai, an online transcription program. We were also able to upload the transcripts to Atlas.ti, a CAQDAS Qualitative Software program that allowed us to code the data to look for emerging themes to focus on in the executive summary of the program evaluation. In the executive summary, we make three recommendations for the department, including a rationale for the recommendations, as well as suggestions on how to go about executing those recommendations.
