Authentic Materials in the World Language Classroom

Designed for FLT 817--Program Development and Administration

This presentation was designed for the FALL FLEX Conference in the MAFLT Program. I discuss the concept of authentic materials and then focus on the use of infographics in the World Language Classroom. I give a few examples of where infographics can fit in during a unit of study, such as at the beginning to spark student interest; in the middle to focus on specific content; or at the end as part of an integrated performance assessment (IPA).
