SUMMARY:

World Language teacher with over twelve (12) years of experience in the classroom; design and implement lessons following a comprehensible input pedagogy; knowledge in standard and framework for both the state of California and the national level via ACTFL (American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages) and develop instruction via best and high-leverage practices for the language classroom. Major priority is developing a comprehensible input mindset in language teachers at both school-site and district-wide; assisting language teachers in making the shift to modern language teaching practices versus traditional grammar-driven instruction.
