While the following papers do not make for engaging website materials, I am particularly proud of how they turned out and have decided to include them here.
In this report I was asked to interview and analyse interculturality in the experiences of someone else to apply concepts that I was learning in the course Culture in FLT.
What I found was really interesting because it showed a parrallel to the political, and racial climates in the U.S. allowing a light to be shown on how a country's prejudice can shape the experiences of someone visiting.
This report was a challenge for me and my partner possibly because of the emotion of working in situations that were not ideal compared to the mounds of research suggesting that other things should have been happening.
I've included this report because it shines a light on a situation as a department of one and the lack of support and development that is available to teachers who are in this situation. It also offers ideas on ways to solve the problems that these teachers face.
