During my experiential module the outcome culminated in the creation of eight lessons. Each lesson is centered around a main task that has a real-world connection. These tasks are backed up by strategies from the comprehensible input method such as personalized questions and more importantly story asking which is used to model the language that can be used during the task.
Before students begin the task they are introduced to the vocabulary through personalized questions, practice the vocabulary with several other activities and create a class made story through the story asking technique which you can see demonstrated in my teaching demo section.
After they have completed the task students receive feedback and sometimes cultural context which they can then apply to redoing the task individually through recording technology.
