WaniKani is an SRS (Spaced Repetition System) to teach Kanji, starting from 1st grade Kanji and slowly leveling up a user. This is geared towards students who have already mastered (or mostly mastered) Kana, as it asks for readings of Kanji characters in Japanese.
Bunpro is an SRS system that is geared towards Japanese grammar! Useful for students who have a textbook (Genki, Tobira, Minna no Nihongo), but can be used without the books, as it has extensive examples.
Minato is a program by the Japanese Foundation, which offers both self-study and tutor-supported courses, for all levels of Japanese. Useful as each course has videos and quizzes to allow students to go at their own pace.
NHK is one of the largest sources of Japanese news, and this version is built for foreigners and young members of society to be able to read. Useful for students who wish to practice reading, as kanji have furigana (small kana over kanji) to help facilitate fluid reading.
