MEHLVILLE FAMILY TECH SUPPORT

đź’» For general Chromebook assistance, please email msdchromebookhelp@msdr9.org đź’»

All students will have access to a district Chromebook. If your child doesn’t have a Chromebook from the spring, please look for information from your child’s school regarding Chromebook distribution. If you do not have internet access, please contact your child’s counselor or principal for assistance. A limited number of wireless internet hotspots are available for families in need.

Google Meet

Teachers will use Google Meet to connect with students. Sometimes this will be whole class meetings, and other times they will use Google Meet to meet with small groups, have students meet with project groups, or meet with students 1:1 for individualized support.

Teachers will post Google Meet links for students on their chosen communication platform - either Google Classroom or Seesaw. Students cannot start their own Google Meets, they can only join a Meet once a teacher has started it.

Google Classroom

Teachers in upper elementary and secondary will use Google Classroom to communicate with students, post announcements and classwork, and more. There is no parent login for Google Classroom - only students and teachers can log in. To view your student's Google Classroom, we recommend sitting with them at their Chromebook when the log in.
