TESTING: PSAT 8/9

On Friday, April 12th all ninth-graders will take the PSAT 8/9. This is a practice for the SAT which students will ultimately take in 11th grade. The PSAT 8/9 is now a digital test which is a change from previous years. Students will test on their school-issued Chromebooks. Scratch paper will be provided to all students. Calculators are built-in to the digital exam for all students.

**Students testing with accommodations will receive a separate email with more detailed information about their test day schedule.

During the pre-administration session on Monday, March 25th, students will be notified of their test day room assignment. In general, most students will test in the field house while those with accommodations will be testing in smaller group settings.

What to bring to the PSAT 8/9 assessment:

Students testing with standard time can expect to finish around 11:30 AM. Once the test has been completed, students will be dismissed and return to their regular class schedule.

Students testing with accommodations (Extended Time or use of Screenreader) can expect to test until 12:50 PM. These students will eat lunch and then return to their regular class schedule.
