NCAA Standards

College-bound student-athletes entering a Division I or Division II college or university must meet specific academic requirements in order to receive athletics aid (scholarship), practice or compete at the D1 or D2  level. Visit the NCAA Eligibility Center for more information about these requirements.

NCAA Approved MSHS Courses

For a full list of MSHS courses currently approved by the NCAA Eligibility Center, visit the link below.

Please note that, although they do count as science courses towards MSHS graduation and most college admissions standards, BSAA and PSAA are not currently accepted by the NCAA Eligibility Center for science credit.

NCAA Eligibility Registration

Students register for NCAA Eligibility online.  Students who plan to compete in athletics at the division I or division II college level must complete NCAA Eligibility form in order to be eligible.  There is a registration fee.  To pay online students will need to use a credit card.  Please let your counselor know that you plan to register. The NCAA wants students to register in the early fall of their senior year so that students will have their ACT and six semesters of school on their transcript.  The NCAA encourages students not to complete the form until after they have completed their junior year of school.

Students can register online for the NCAA Eligibility Center HERE.
