On Wednesday, April 10th all sophomores will take the PSAT 10. This is a practice for the SAT taken during 11th grade. The PSAT 10 is now a digital test - this is a change from previous years. Students will test on their school-issued Chromebooks. Scratch paper will be provided to all students. Calculators are built-in to the digital exam for all students to use.
**Students testing with accommodations will receive a separate email with more detailed information about their test day schedule.
During the pre-administration session on Monday, March 25th, students will be notified of their test day room assignment. If students cannot attend this session, they should contact me (smills@ms.k12.il.us) to get their room assignment.
What to bring to the PSAT 10:
School-issued Chromebook (charged)
Chromebook charger
Pencil or pen (to use with scratch paper)
Headphones - only if testing with Screenreader accommodation
Students testing with standard time can expect to finish around 11:30 AM. Once the test has been completed, students will be dismissed and return to their regular class schedule.
Students testing with accommodations (Extended Time or use of Screenreader) can expect to test until 12:50 PM. These students will eat lunch and then return to their regular class schedule.
