Prerequisite: Introduction to Industrial Engineering or permission of instructor
This course is designed to provide a student with information and practical experience needed for a career in engineering, architecture or construction. Engineering topics include multi-view drawing and dimensioning, three-dimensional design and pictorial drawing, and product assembly plans. The architectural segment will emphasize floor plans, elevations, wall sections, and plot detail. Students will use both hand drafting tools and industry-grade CAD programs to complete projects. Students will also have the opportunity to design products for Computer Numeric Controlled (CNC) manufacturing and 3D printing. (I230)
