Prerequisite: Completion of Algebra 1, Minimum 3.0/4.0 GPA. It is strongly recommended that students have completed AP Computer Science Principles with a grade of B or higher prior to this course.
AP Computer Science A is an introductory college-level computer science course. Students cultivate their understanding of coding through analyzing, writing, and testing code as they explore concepts like modularity, variables, and control structures. This course follows the College Board curriculum and prepares students for the AP CS A Exam in May.
