Thank you for your interest in reviewing Bridges in Mathematics Third Edition.
I have set up a Third Edition preview account for the Maplewood-Richmond Heights School District on our new Bridges Educator Site. All purchases of classroom packages include access to the Bridges Educator Site. To create your login, please go to: https://teach.mathlearningcenter.org/user/register?registration_code=3bdralo14740
Please note that the site is under development and content will continue to be added.
The link above should be shared with anyone within your school or district involved in the curriculum evaluation process. The account expires on August 3, 2024. Extensions may be requested if more time is needed to complete a formal review process related to purchasing decisions.
This preview includes grades K-5 and Bridges Intervention.
I also created a preview account for PK on the Bridges Educator Site for the Second Edition.
To create your login, please go to:
https://bridges.mathlearningcenter.org/user/register/?accountcode=maple21073
The link above should be shared with anyone within your school or district involved in the curriculum evaluation process. The account expires on August 3, 2024. Extensions may be requested if more time is needed to complete a formal review process related to purchasing decisions.
Once on the site, you will find PreK within the Curriculum Tab. I recommend beginning with a review of the PreK Program Overview.
Pilot Information
We have two options for piloting the Bridges in Mathematics curriculum: using physical materials or using online materials only. There is no fee to pilot with either option.
<Physical materials>
Our pilot kits include the full Bridges curriculum and manipulatives (four boxes).
We send student books for the number of students in the piloting classroom.
At the end of the pilot, kits must be either purchased at full price or returned to The Math Learning Center at no charge.
Piloting with physical materials requires a three-month commitment. We recommend a full-year pilot whenever possible.
A limited number of pilot kits can be sent. (Typically, we allow for 10% of the overall classrooms in a school/district or at least 1 kit per grade level to pilot physical materials.)
If you would like, you can have additional kits for a fee - $300 per kit. This fee is non-refundable and will not go toward the purchase price at the end of the pilot.
An unlimited number of Bridges Educator Site accounts are included for the duration of the pilot.
<Online Only (using the new Bridges Educator Site)>
Teachers and staff will have access to the new Bridges Educator Site to download and print materials such as components, student books, teacher guides as needed.
Typically, the best option for pilot lasts less than three months.
I'll be happy to meet you on a Zoom call to go over the information.
Please let me know if you have any questions or have any trouble navigating the site.

Both our Core Connections and Inspiring Connections Series are based on CPM’s 3 Pillars of research. Collaboration, Problem-Based Learning, and Mixed, Spaced Practice. We spend a considerable amount of time on this research in our Professional Learning Events to support understanding in how they impact the design of our curriculum as well as our professional learning. As you move forward with the digital review of our materials, here are some resources that will provide an overview for both Series:
Inspiring Connections Series: This series is currently available for Middle School (Inspiring Connections, Courses 1-3) . There will be a High School Inspiring Connections Series that will include Algebra, Geometry and Algebra 2 courses and an Integrated Math 1-3 option. Currently, the Inspiring Connections Algebra 1 course is in development and there has not been a formal announcement made on when it will be completed. I do know that once the algebra course is completed (and those developed afterward) there will be a field test year for each course.
The Inspiring Connections series is unique in that it doesn’t have printed textbooks, but is instead a bi-media program that includes student consumable mathematician notebooks in addition to a digital platform.
In addition to having access to the digital platform for Inspiring Connections, there is a consumable Mathematicians Notebook that would accompany the student materials. Since you are only requesting digital access for this first phase of your review, you will only see the digital materials. In the meantime, I have included more information for you below on the Inspiring Connections Series.
1. Inspiring Connections - website https://cpm.org/middle-school-ic/
Our website has information on our series that includes the Features of Inspiring Connections, an overview of the Curriculum Resources, at the Table of Contents for each course, Testimonials and more!
2. Inspiring Connections - Quick Guide Brochure https://pdfs.cpm.org/public_relations/curr/CPM_IC_Brochure.pdf
This brochure provides more information about this series and how it compares to our Core Connections Series. Please see page 4 of this brochure for a side-by-side comparison to our Core Connections Series.
3. Inspiring Connections - Digital Platform videos
Quick Overview https://vimeo.com/904102740/3763f5f4e2
Core Connections Series: Here are some more resources that may assist you and your committee as they review our Core Connections Series for Middle and High School. I have requested both digital access to the ebooks for this series for your review.
