This year’s theme and school wide enrichment brought to you by the BEST!

The least we could do was attempt to make the first day festivities lead the way!!!

Community Involvement- We Want you!
Announcing the theme for our
2023 - 2024 Wheeler Schoolwide Enrichment Project:
Wildcat World of Creativity
Creativity and innovation are the most important skills our students will need for the future. No matter what field of study they choose, they will be expected to solve complex problems with innovative solutions. This will require learning deeply, synthesizing ideas, collaborating with co-workers, taking risks, and persevering through failures. Our schoolwide enrichment project will focus on creativity across several subjects.
Units of study will include:
Creativity in Engineering
Creativity in Literature
Creativity in Math
Creativity in Science
Creativity in Coding
Creativity in Art
Creativity in Music
Creativity in Communication
Wheeler parents and caregivers, if you have a job or hobby that might fall into one of these units, we would love to have you help spread the joy of creativity next year! You can join us for announcements, talk to student groups, or even lead a small workshop. We are open to all innovative ideas!
Sincerely,
Your Creativity Coordinators

Technology Reminders & expectations
During School Hours
Cell Phones, Watches (Gizmo’s/Apple/Vtech etc..) & Devices: If you feel it is necessary for your child to have a device with them at school, the device needs to be turned off and left in the backpack during school hours. If a student uses the cell phone or device in school or on school grounds, they will be reminded of the school’s policy. The second time the device is seen or heard, the device will be secured in the principal’s office and parents will be called to pick up the device. To eliminate confusion, we ask students to use the school phone if they need to contact parents during the school day.
To maintain an educationally focused school environment, any school-to-home communication (or home-to-student), must be initiated through the office.
