On Thursday, 8/10 only students will be entering the building, so if they need assistance, please plan to bring school supplies to Open House. This not only helps with parking, it allows better opportunities for teachers to welcome students and families.

Teacher assignments are based on many factors including academic need, a blending of students, and gender balance. This work is done as a large team during the early spring of the prior year. Following these considerations, placement is assigned. We have great teachers, supportive parents, and super kids. Please know much thought has been given to the placement of each child. Classroom teachers will be emailing families with your child's classroom placement by Monday, August 7th by 5pm.

It is such a pleasure to serve as your principal. Please feel free to contact me at any time with questions, celebrations, or concerns. It is the goal of all Wheeler staff to provide your child with the best educational experience possible. I look forward to working with each of you during the 2023-2024 school year.
