💊 MEDICATION PICK UP- END OF YEAR

Attention parents and guardians:

If your student has any medications in the health room, they need to be picked up by 1pm on Thursday May 23 which is the last day of school. Any medication that is not picked up by this time will be appropriately discarded. The school will not store any medication over the summer break.

Afternoon medications will not be administered that day.

If you have any questions, please contact the health room staff at Wheeler Elementary School at (402) 715-6250.

School Wide Movie Day

As part of NWEA NSCAS Growth & MAP Growth Celebrations, we will host school movie day on Monday, May 20th.

Primary Movie Title: Gnomeo & Juliet (Creativity in Adaptation of Shakespeare)

Rating: G

Intermediate Movie Title: The Lego Movie (Creativity in Building/Creation/Innovation)

Rating: PG

The decision to show these movies has been carefully considered and tied to our school-wide theme this year. We will be streaming the movie through SWANK, our district-approved streaming platform. We will be watching this movie as a class with adult supervision, and we are happy that students have earned this class experience!

If you are comfortable with your student watching this movie, you do not need to reach out to us.

2024-25 School Year Information

Open House/Back to School Night: Tuesday, August 6th 5pm-6:30pm

We are also asking that you plan to attend the following time slots by the first letter of your last name. This is recommended, but not required if it doesn't work for your schedule. On Thursday, 8/8 only students will be entering the building, so if they need assistance, please plan to bring school supplies to Open House. This not only helps with parking, it allows better opportunities for teachers to welcome students and families.

Recommended Staggered Open House Schedule

5:00-5:30PM- Families A-F

5:30-6:00PM- Families G-O

6:00-6:30PM- Families P-Z

August 8th-First Day of School

LUNCH & MPS FOOD SERVICE

Please go to Millard Public Schools Food Service website to learn more about My School Bucks for depositing money in your child’s lunch account or to find the application for FREE AND REDUCED LUNCH.
If your child will be eating breakfast at school, we ask that they please arrive between 8:15 - 8:25 so they can eat breakfast and start the school day on time at 8:30.
