Halloween Costume Guidelines - Students will be allowed to bring costumes for the Halloween parties and the costume parade on October 31st. As you are thinking about costumes please follow these guidelines.

  • Costumes should be age appropriate, no weapons, no fake blood. Questions about costumes may be directed to Dr. Sullivan before the parties. On the day of the parade, questionable costumes will be sent to the office and phone calls made home.
  • No face makeup will be used for the school parade. It is uncomfortable and disruptive to wear all day. Students will not be allowed to put on face paint or hairspray at school.
  • We do not have enough restroom space for all students to change into their costume in the privacy of a restroom. Students should be able to put their costume on in their classrooms.

Our 5th Grade classes were lucky enough to get to meet Officer Keith Bell this week.

He talked with students about the different ways a person can be bullied and what things a person can do to stand up to bullies. He encouraged students to be resilient and work hard to accomplish their dreams.
