The PTO's only fundraiser this year will be a Boosterthon. Details will be sent home closer to the event. The PTO is looking for parents to help distribute Boosterton items September 6-14th from 9:00-10:00 a.m.. Oscar the Therapy Dog
Neihardt will be welcoming back Oscar. Oscar is a 5 year old cockapoo. You can read more about Oscar and his role on the pages below.
As part of a #BeKind project 3rd Graders are collecting used shoes to send to villages in the Dominican Republic. They collected 115 pairs today. If you have shoes to donate please send them to school next week.
NEWS FROM THE HEALTH ROOM
State-mandated health screenings for all students from preschool through fourth grade are planned to be done during the month of September and will include vision, hearing, height and weight. If there are any questions, please contact the health room. If preschool and kindergarten students have this information on their physical exam turned in, no additional screening will be done. If you have any vision or hearing concerns as the school year progresses, just let the lealth room know and we will rescreen your student per your request. No information will be sent home unless there is a hearing or vision concern.
