Thermal temperature scanners will be used again in each building. All teachers, staff and students will enter through the same entrance in order to be scanned.
If a student registers a temperature greater than 100.4 degrees then they will be sent to a holding area. After ten minutes they will be checked again by the nurse or designated staff member. If they still have a temperature higher than 100.4 degrees then they will be sent to an isolation area and the nurse will contact their guardian. They will remain there until their guardian picks them up. Additional guidance and direction will be provided by the city health department when cases of COVID-19 occur within a school population.
