For your students saftey, students are not allowed on campus until 7:10am. Students should be in their seats ready to learn no later than 7:30am. If students arrive after 7:30am parents are asked to sign the student in at the office.

Parents and Staff if you have student concerns or a student who may be in need of resources please fill out this form to get them connected with Mrs. McKenna. I am looking forward to another great year as a Falcon Hill Firebird!Students also have all learned the Zones of Regulation. Zones is a helpful way for students to identify feelings and implement coping skills! Here is an example of a Zones of Regulation Chart.
This year we are continuing our monthly SEL lessons. These lessons are district created and use research based resources. More information can be found here.
From the Health Office
The health office staff will be handing out Healthy Habit tickets to students who are observed making healthy choices while at school. Tickets are put into a drawing. Two winners will be drawn each month during the morning announcements and get to pick from the Health Office prize box. Keep making those Healthy Choices!
Notes from the health office…
Knowing whether a child is well enough to go to school can be tough for any parent. It often comes down to whether a child can still participate at school. Missing school makes it more difficult to learn; however, kids with a fever need to stay home until the fever is below 101 degrees for 24 hours without the use of a fever reducing medication and have improving symptoms.
Please encourage your kids to eat breakfast and bring a water bottle to school. Food and water are so important for our kids to be ready to learn and continue to feel well. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out : 480-472-8579.
Helpful Donations: We are always so grateful for donations! There have been a lot of runny noses here in the health office and we could use more boxes of Kleenex. Thank you for your support of our health office!
