Parent Teacher conferences will be held the week of October 11th - 15th 2021. Mon & Tues regular release at 2:00pm. Wed, Thurs & Friday release is 12:00pm. Watch for Sign Up Genesis for conference times from your Childs teacher.

During elementary conference week, preschool class time will change. Thursday, October 14the AM and Friday, October 15th AM classes and bus transportation will be from 9-11 AM. PM classes and bus transportation will be from 2-4 PM.

Now accepting entries for the 2022 Student Contest. Open to all grades K-12. Winning entries receive a prize, and will be invited to participate in the 37th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration at Arizona State University with their family and teacher. Entry deadline October 1, 2021.
Arizona State University will host its 37th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. celebration in January 2022. Tributes and recognition of Dr. King and the achievements of the civil rights movement have been celebrated at ASU since long before the creation of a state holiday in Arizona. A highlight of the celebration is the recognition and awards ceremony for the Arizona K-12 students who are winners of the statewide essay-poster contest.

New, size 4-12 girls and boys underwear are needed in the health office as well as gently used shorts with elastic waistbands in sizes 4-12 for both boys & girls. No shirts or shoes are needed at this time.

Please remember to keep sick children home. If your child exhibits a fever (greater than 100.3), please remember that to return to school it must be below 100.3 for 24 hours without the use of a fever reducing medication before returning to school. This really helps keep everyone safe in your child's classroom.

Students exhibiting any COVID-19 symptoms while at school will be sent home and follow the Maricopa County isolation guidelines to determine when they may return. PLEASE keep your child home if they exhibit any COVID-19 symptoms. This will ensure your child is able to return to school as quickly as possible. If there is a Positive Case of Covid in the home, please notify the health office ASAP.

Mesa Public Schools will be offering healthy meals to all students at no cost every school day in School Year 2021-2022. Your child(ren) will receive one free breakfast and one free lunch meal every school day regardless of your household’s income.
Families are still encouraged to submit a school meal application for free or reduced-price meal benefits because this information may be used for other programs, such as Pandemic-Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT), Federal and State funding for your school, reduced registration fees for academic tests, free or discounted fees for athletic programs, discounted rates for internet service, and many more.
