Dear Falcon Hill Families,
I am writing you this letter to inform you that I will not be returning as Principal of Falcon Hill Elementary next school year. I am so proud of the accomplishments we as a community have made. Thank you for supporting the launch of PBL, Thinkerspace and all things innovative over the last 7 years.
I will be transitioning to a position at Arizona State University where I will continue to support educators in public schools. It has been a pleasure and an honor to serve as principal for the last 7 years. I will continue to serve our Falcon Hill community until the end of my contract on June 30th.
A formal process for the selection of a new principal will happen throughout this next semester. As this process unfolds I will continue to make you aware of the outcome. During this time there will be ample opportunities for parent and staff input as to what they would like to see in a new principal for Falcon Hill Elementary.
Again thank you for your support.
Respectfully
Dr. Lisa McCray Cannon
Principal
Falcon Hill Elementary
