FAFSA
Free Application for Federal Student Aid
What is The FAFSA?
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is the form that students planning to attend college in the current or following school year complete in order to receive federal student aid or money for college. US citizens, permanent residents, or certain visa holders can apply.
2024-2025 Better FAFSA
There will be changes to the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the academic year 2024-25. In 2020 Congress passed a law that include the FAFSA Simplification ACT. The better FAFSA application will open in December 2023. Please note that our center coordinators are getting appropriate training to support students and guardians with this process change.
What do I need?
To file a FAFSA, students, and collaborators (parent/guardians) are required to report their 2022 income and tax information. When applying for aid with the FAFSA, you must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, or an eligible non-citizen.
