Entry and Above Entry Students participate in the standard program as a year long subject. This is compulsory for all students.Â
Students in Pre-VCE may choose from one of the three elective mathematic subjects. These form the prerequisites for the VCE mathematics subjects; students are eligible to study any VCE mathematics subject indicated by the arrows in the infographic below.
In the VCE program, Specialist Mathematics must be studied with Mathematics Methods. Graduate 11 students are also strongly encouraged to study General Mathematics alongside Mathematics Methods if they are not studying Specialist Mathematics.
