Claim 1:

At the beginning of the year, I demonstrated ownership by trying to hold up my end of exhibitions.

By the end of this year,  I understand ownership to mean not only doing the right thing but also owning up to something if you do it.

Another time that I used ownership was on my ELA I-Ready. Like I said earlier I got 9th and 10th grade levels which really caught me by surprise. So I went to talk to Ms. Nancy about it and owned up that I was mostly just guessing. So in the end, I used ownership by saying I didn't think that I got accurate scores because I guessed.

At the beginning of the year, I demonstrated being helpful by trying to be helpful when possible like with exhibitions or school work.

I understood being helpful to mean assisting others when they need support

One time that I was helpful was with my exhibitions. I used all of the habits of heart and mind in my exhibitions to make sure none of my group members had to do my work for me. I always did my work then helped my peers if needed.

By the end of this year, I try to be helpful everyday. Whether that's helping a teacher, classmate, friend, or even the school.

Recently, I’ve been very helpful to our school. Throughout almost all 4 quarters this year I did Mountain Ambassadors which I really liked as I got to help our school and the student body as a whole. It was a super fun experience to hang posters, raise money, host events,pick up trash and do speeches all throughout 7th grade. It made me feel like I was a part of helping our school be a better place.

At the beginning of the year, I demonstrated  being respectful by trying to respect my classmates as well as teachers.

I understood being respectful to mean listening to my peers when they are talking and not being disturbing or disruptive

One example of this was with our Humanities guest speaker M.K Thompson. This guest speaker came to talk to us about her experiences as a writer and how she gets ideas so I made sure as well as most of my peers to be respectful.

Claim 2:

By the end of this year, I have learned to be not only more respectful but always respectful.

My final piece of evidence is my Orchestra Concert. So this year, same as last, we went to Albuquerque for our yearly competition and I used a ton of respect here while the judges were giving critiques as well as at the restaurant, Amusement park, and fun center.
