during this test, we worked on different varieties of inequalities and equations. I got a developing for this test but we were able to take another test with all the answers we got incorrect and I refined my developing to a meets. my goal I want to set for myself so I can be more successful during math class is to study more, and verify my work as much as possible.
topics that this unit has covered was domain, range, types of functions, and function equations. I got a meets for this test, this is because I messed up on some occasions but got most of the questions right and did exceeds which gave me extra points. the places I struggled with most in this test would be when it came to finding the variables in graphing I kept putting parenthesis instead of brackets, but that's all I really found. I didn't really know I got it wrong until I got my test back. the parts I found the easiest was all of the developing part of the test, it was fairly easy and I got every question right. my goal for the next test is to get a meets plus or an exceeds, I will make sure to get this far and reach my goal by studying and focusing on my work, always listening and never goofing off
for the math 1 final I got 85.33%. My overall grade was a meets or in other terms, a B. my goal for the math 2 final during the spring is to study way more so I can be prepared and get every question right.
for this we studied our topics and made graphs, after that we put all of our information into slides and presented this a few days later. my topic was a rocket taking off and then falling back down after it ran out of gas, I got a meets plus.
in this test for the beginning of the year I got a grade 7 (517). this means that my grade level for math in the beginning of the year of 7th grade level math. my performance nationally was in the 76th percentile. my highest placement in my domain of math was a tie between numbers and operations and geometry, both of them having early 8 meaning early 8th grade level. my lowest was also a tie, both Algebra and algebraic thinking, and measurement and data got grade 7 meaning 7th grade level math. by the end of year I-ready test I want to surpass 8th grade level since I am in advanced math. I will do this by trying my hardest when it comes to math and during the test as well.
