Confidence

The 6th grade lens is Confidence. At the beginning of the year, Confidence meant believing you are able to do something to me. At the beginning of the year, I demonstrated this lens by Pushing my limits and trying new things. This occurred in and outside the classroom. Some things I tried outside of school were being on a new soccer team and trying to land new tricks and rails on my skis. In school I have attempted to really focus in class so I will be able to remember the information I learn and not just let it go in one ear and out the other. By the end of this year, my definition of confidence has changed a lot. At the beginning of the year I thought it just meant believing in yourself but I have come to realize it could also mean being brave enough to go help a stranger if they’re in need or If you're shy having the confidence to go and make a new friend. Not just being like “I can climb this mountain.”
