In this unit, we learned how to decompose shapes and find areas of rectangles, triangles, and polygons. In the assessment, I did better than I expected, so what I could have done better was to believe in myself more. The habit of heart and mind I used was effort.

Unit two has been hard for me so far, so what I can do to do better in the second half of this unit is to pay extra close attention to class and remember to ask for help. the habit  of heart and mind i used was respect because I was responsible when we got free seating.

For the unit 2 assessment, I was gone for the main day that the rest of the class did it, so I had to finish it over lunch, and then had to revise it. I did bump my grade up a little by taking my time, and working through it step by step. Next time, I hope to get a better grade the first time by taking my time.

This unit was all about graphs, circles, and proportional relationships. I found this unit confusing in many ways. One way was the word-problems. This was difficult because it puts your knowledge to the test through real-life situations. The assessment we had at the end of the unit was sort of summing up all of our past units. I got a meets, but I really thought that I would get an approaching. what I could do better next time is I could believe in myself more.
