We are currently working on our First Americans Exhibition.

My goal for science is to be positive and bring motivation to my team, even though I might not enjoy this subject very much. I will work to achieve this goal by working on my breathing techniques and mindfulness.

Unit 1: Geology

Learning target: I can investigate and demonstrate my understanding of plate tectonics by identifying the movement and interactions of Earth's lithosphere plates, recognizing the geological features they create, and explaining their impact on the Earth's surface through a hands-on lab.

rock cycle virtual lab

We filled out a form with some questions about the different types of rocks and how they form.

I learned that there are three different types of rock that can be formed and run in a cycle.

This helped me understand the topic by making me repeat all the processes and types of rocks that can be formed.

I used effort by working hard and doing my work even though I struggled some times.

Plate tectonics lab

We went through a slide show and answered questions about the different types of motion in tectonic plates.

I learned about how the tectonic plates move and what types of natural disasters they cause or create.

This helped me understand how mountains and earth quakes are formed.

I used integrity because I finished this at home even though I didn't want to.

Stellar CHRONICLES Exhibition

I think I did pretty well on this exhibition and worked hard on my information and explanations that I gave to the audience. for this exhibition I was assigned a group to work with on a topic that was given to us (gravity and tides). We did have a rough time working together, but I kept calm and in my perspective, handled the situation well.

SCIENCE exhibition

What did you complete for this project? What was your topic? My topic was about Water rights and conservation. For this project my partner and I completed a slideshow about Water rights for farmers and better water conservation Technics for farming. we wanted our stakeholders to adopt our new Technics that in theory would help better the environment

How do you think it went? I think it went fairly well other than the fact that I messed up my lines a couple of times, but I think I did well

Group Work: Which of these did you use and how did you use it? I think I used a lot of helpfulness in my group work because I did of the research and notes for our project.
