My story is about me in the hospital after my brother broke his back and went into surgery and explaining my thoughts and memories that pop into my head when I say I’m going to the bathroom to escape the tension I feel on myself in his hospital room, my sculpture relates to my story bc it represents the separation I felt from my brother in his hospital room while I’m sitting in the waiting room remembering memories of one of my old friends who passed away and also regretting and blaming myself for what happened to my brother, and the forest represents my thought and memories that are popping into my head, and and the empty hospital bed represents how I feel that I am far away from him and in a different world when he’s so close to me. I feel like the only thing that went well in this project was prolly my sculpture of a human, but on the other hand I really don’t like the way it looks and the n the future I would change the style of my sculpture and dedicate more time, bc I know that I am capable of WAY better art.
