Homeroom: Mr. marcus
my identity is what I see as what shows who I really am, I see identity as what expresses what you believe, what you genuinely enjoy, and what you express when truly being yourself.
when I was young I used to really admire acrobatics and I always wanted to do it but I was always really insecure and didn't believe in myself enough to push myself to do it, but this year my friends convinced me to do the aerial silk SIG I've become really passionate about aerial silks and acrobatics all together I really pushed myself even though I was sourounded by people who made me insecure at first quickly after I felt like I was part of a community and I was at a whole new level of confidence. allowing myself to take the risks and do what I was passionate about I have built my identity and who I really am.
recently I decided to do acrobatics outside of school and I joined the San Jaun circus acrobatics crew, I have gained so much more confidence and Ive improved a lot in what I love, I grew a true passion for all acrobatics all together, I also recently began learning other forms of acrobatics like the lrya. I caught on quickly with this new skill and I've gained a lot more talent at what I do. I now after spending years trying to find what I really wanted to do I finally found something that made me truly happy that can help me express my true self. I hope for myself in the future that I never give up on this for it is a true passion and helps me reflect my identity.
i as an artist am very engaged in sketching and painting. I love realism and texture. my art is how I express who I am and how I show my feeling with meaningful scenery. art is my specific way of being myself. my entire life since I was a kid I have been very passionate of art, I especially like realism, though I'm not that good at it it is still my way of releaving my stress, and making my day better by using it to relax and clear my mind with a couple of strokes with a pencil or paint brush. I mainly enjoy to draw dogs and other animals.
