WELCOME TO FIRST GRADE!
Hello! My name is Molly Caswell and I am very excited to be part of your child's educational experience.
This school year will be my ninth year teaching. I taught Kindergarten for five years at Snail Lake Kindergarten Center. This is my fourth year teaching first grade at Turtle Lake! I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education from the University of Wisconsin Eau-Claire. I also hold a Masters Degree in Reading from Minnesota State University Mankato.
My family is made up of my husband (Cole), daughter (Charlotte), and pup (Happy). Charlotte was born in December of 2023. We are expecting our second daughter in December of 2025! We are excited as our family continues to grow. In the summer you can find us on the lake, completing DIY house projects, or cozying up with Charlotte.
I value your expertise about your child and appreciate parent/guardian involvement. Please feel free to reach out to me via email, writing notes, or calling throughout the year with any questions or concerns. I want to do all I can to support your child. It will be a great year!

Parent Meetings
At Turtle Lake, we offer several opportunities throughout the year for teachers and parents to discuss your child's academic and social progress. You can choose the day and time that works best for you. I encourage you to sign-up one time in the Fall/Winter - Semester One and one time in the Winter/Spring - Semester Two.
For families who would like to donate our classroom, we have an Amazon wish list. There is absolutely no pressure to donate, just an option for families who are able and interested. Each month, your child will bring home Reading Club flyers. Together you can choose from books hand-selected by teachers and experts, and then order online.
