Ninth generation Cape Girardeau county resident and farmer, Drew Blattner, shares his love of the outdoors with his 7-year-old daughter, Ava. She tags along when Drew is working on his parents’ farm. She also helps take care of the dozens of animals on their property and enjoys going hunting. He hopes to see her continue the legacy of farming the family’s land, which is likely due to her interest in exploring nature and tending to its animals.
