The Missouri Photo Workshop has documented small town America for nearly seven decades. Inspired by the gritty, content-rich photographs of the documentary photo unit of the pre-WWII Farm Security Administration, Clifton C. Edom founded the Missouri Photo Workshop to imbue the fundamentals of photo research, shooting and editing to those who want to be effective photographers and visual storytellers.

To date, nearly three thousand photographers have volunteered for this immersive experience, guided, prodded and urged on by the top photographers and photo editors representing American photojournalism.
