Grade Level Specific Support

Here you will find specific resources to help your child succeed academically. The curriculum used at Monroe includes Swun Math, Journeys for English Language Arts, and Senderos for Spanish. Resources and support for each of these can be found under each grade level.

The California Department of Education delineates that the content standards, "were designed to encourage the highest achievement of every student, by defining the knowledge, concepts, and skills that students should acquire at each grade level." These standards are known as Common Core, or the standards students are expected to learn at each grade level.
